We only collect the minimum information required to provide cook-booking services:
a. User Information You Provide
- Name
- Phone Number (for OTP verification and communication)
- City, Area, and Address (to send the cook to your location)
b. We DO NOT collect:
- Passwords (login is OTP-based)
- Photos, media, contacts
- Camera/microphone data
- Precise GPS location
- Payment or financial information
- Aadhaar/PAN or sensitive identity documents
- Data from children under 13
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for:
- Verifying your phone number using OTP
- Creating your user profile
- Providing cook-booking services
- Allowing the assigned cook to reach your address
- Communicating booking updates or support messages
We never use your data for advertising or profiling.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your:
- Name
- Phone number
- Address
…only with the cook assigned to your booking so they can reach you. No other third parties receive your personal data unless required by law.
4. Data Security
Our app does not use passwords and only collects minimal information. Your OTP verification ensures that only you can access your account.
5. Children's Privacy
HomeKitchen does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If such data is found, we will delete it immediately.

7. Refund Policy
In case there is a cancellation from the user side after a cook has been assigned, a refund will be processed as follows:
Full Refund
If cancellation occurs more than 2 hours before the scheduled cooking time.
50% Refund
If cancellation occurs within 2 hours of the scheduled cooking time.
No Refund
No refunds for cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled time.
Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when needed. Significant changes will be notified to users.
